Virtual event information will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023. will take place in the Pacific Standard Time Zone (PST). 

This is a hybrid event:

  • Virtual experience is from 9:00am to 12:30pm PT.
  • In-person experience is from 8:00am to 6:00pm PT.

Registered attendees can view the sessions by visiting the home page on November 2nd. Click on the 'View session' button to join the session. You will then be asked to enter your email address and password. Prior to the listed start time you will be brought to a waiting room. 

If you are experiencing trouble with a session, remember to refresh your browser and check your internet connection. For those of you using chrome, some may need to watch the session in incognito mode. For information on how to turn this setting on, click here. Mozilla Firefox also works well with this platform.

All sessions will be made available for on-demand access the week after the event. You will need to be registered in order to access the content.

If the scheduled sessions has started, please press the play button on the video screen to start the stream. 

If you enter a session and see a live discussion but cannot hear the presenter speak, please make sure your speakers and volume are enabled.  Check the video frame to unmute the sound in the lower right corner as well. 

Ensure that other devices on your network are not consuming bandwidth through downloads, streaming, updating or watching online videos as each of these will greatly slow down your connection.

If you're using Windows, ensure that Windows updates are not downloading in the background. To access this menu, simply press the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of your screen and type 'update'. After selecting 'Check for updates' you will be able to verify whether your internet bandwidth is being taken by the Windows update. If there is a downloading occurring, simply press the 'pause' button to stop the download and speed up your internet.

If you're on a wireless device like a laptop or tablet, you may need to move closer to your network router to get a stronger signal, this can impact your internet speed greatly.

The closest airport is the San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) approximately 5 miles or San Francisco (SFO) approximately 40 miles.

A cab or ride share (Uber, Lyft) from the airport to Signia by Hilton San Jose is about 10 minutes and will cost approximately $15-20.

Hotel check-in is 3:00 pm PST. The hotel will do its best to accommodate any early arrivals. All bags can be stored with the bell desk until your room is ready and after checking out on your departure day.

While there's no official dress code, we encourage business casual attire for all sessions. Dressing in layers is also encouraged, as the air conditioning in the meeting rooms can be a bit variable at times.
